Your journey to Hogwarts begins on August 14

Calling all wizards, witches, and muggles – have your galleons ready! Ticket sales begin Tuesday, Aug. 14 for the Canadian Cancer Society’s An Evening at Hogwarts.

On Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Machine Shop, you’ll experience the life of a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Your journey to the wizarding world begins at 5:30 p.m.

The evening will include a delicious four-course meal, a Harry Potter themed vendor show in Diagon Alley, participation in Hogwarts classes, a quidditch game, as well as many giveaways including your very own wand from Ollivanders!

Tickets are available at the Canadian Cancer Society office (390 McNabb Street) as of Tuesday, Aug. 14. Doors open at 10 a.m. (cash, credit, or debit) and phone lines open at 11 a.m. (credit only).

Tickets are $100 per wizard. Children over the age of ten are welcome. We ask that those purchasing tickets come prepared with the names of each individual attending the event.

Please note that there are only a limited number of tickets available for this event. We will sell 50 tickets per house table (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw). Wizards have their choice of house on a first come, first served basis. Come quick, as tickets will sell faster than you can say Wing-GAR-dium Levi-O-sa!

All proceeds from this event support the Canadian Cancer Society.
