Sault College Adventure Recreation and Parks Technician students are proud to be hosting the Water Walker Film Festival. It will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. online via Microsoft teams. Admission is by donation and proceeds from the event will go directly to the Hiawatha Highlands Conservation Area. For the link, please contact Todd Dolk at [email protected]

An annual festival, to celebrate the legendary Bill Mason, a great conservationist, canoeist, and film maker who cared passionately about his work and the wilderness. He wanted to share its beauty and promote its protection. As he once said, “Film for me is a means of expressing my feelings about the things I enjoy, things I am concerned about, mostly the natural world.” The festival is organized by Paddle Canada.

As you journey with us during this festival, you will receive a sneak peek of who us students are, and explore different ecosystems as you experience the film maker’s perspective on the water.

Let's come together one last time virtually and celebrate the exceptional films on canoeing, kayaking, adventure and conservation.

Please email Todd at [email protected] for a link for the festival. For additional information please contact Darci Brygidyr at [email protected]
