On Sunday, April 8, the Sault Ste. Marie Professional Firefighters Association will once again host its biggest fundraiser of the year, the 13th annual Hockey Marathon. The event takes place at the Community First - Soo Pee Wee Arena from 8 a.m. until midnight, and all proceeds will go towards assisting those in our community who are in need.

The marathon includes both a pancake breakfast and a pasta dinner upstairs in the arena at the Centre Ice restaurant. Tickets, available from any Sault firefighter or at the door, are $7 for breakfast and $10 for dinner. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Both meals are open to everyone and visitors are encouraged to join the firefighters and our families to raise money for local charities and cheer on the players.
