NEWS RELEASE
ST. VINCENT PLACE
*************************
The Sault has been amazing every time we’ve put out a call for volunteers. You’ve gone above and beyond to help out St. Vincent Place so we thought we’d see if you can do that again!

We’re in the process of organizing an exciting new two-part fundraiser to support our food bank, called the Fight Hunger Games.

Part one, called Fill the Districts, is going to be a canned food drive in the Station Mall from June 2 to 8. Part two will be a Family Games Day on June 9 at Clergue Park – and that’s what we need you for!

We’re currently looking for about 30 volunteers to help with the Family Games Day from about 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (The event will run from noon to 4 p.m.)

We need volunteers to help run each of the games, make and sell cotton candy and popcorn, and to man a welcome table and sell tickets. High school students are welcome to volunteer – it’s a great way to earn volunteer hours.

If you can help out or would like more information, please contact Sara McCleary as soon as possible at 705-253-2770 ext. 4 or [email protected].
