Volunteer board members needed for Soup Kitchen

The Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre is holding its Annual General Meeting on June 7, 2016 at 6 p.m.

The Soup Kitchen is looking for individuals who have a background in Financial Social Services, Human Resources, Mental Health or the legal profession to join the Board of Directors.

It will be accepting nominations for community member positions for the Board of Directors for a 3-year term.

The position requires attendance at monthly board meeting and some committee meetings. The board usually meets the first Tuesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Nominating Committee would appreciate receiving a biography from the nominees.
