Village Media's Accretive is on the lookout for a couple local actors with the right look to take part in a local commercial photo/video shoot.

Casting Call Notice For Photo/Video Shoot

Please read the casting details carefully. Accepting submissions from only non-union (non-ACTRA) talent in the Algoma region.

CASTING ONE MALE & ONE FEMALE FOR COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING.

Status: Non-Union

Shooting Starts: Mon, Feb. 1 and Tues, Feb. 2, 2021 (one talent/day)

Shoot Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Media: Digital advertising, point-of-sale collateral, video, billboard, etc

Pay Rate: $300/day per person + travel expenses excluded.

*One day of filming (indoor shoot). Talent must be able to transport themselves to the Sault Ste. Marie location and to/from accommodation.

Wardrobe: Wardrobe to be provided. A bonus if talent has their own brown shoes and khaki pants, but will otherwise be provided.

Important Casting Note: Talent must adhere to strict Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols on set, as well as complete a pre-screening process.

Casting:

• One male and one female who will both represent a trustable but personable financial advisor. 
• 27-40 years old approximately 
• All ethnicities, hair and eye colours. 
• Male – Ideally looks a little rugged with a short-trimmed beard or stubble. Expressive eyebrows an asset.
• Female – Down to earth ‘girl next door’ type. Natural and approachable.
• Words to describe the look:
  • Trustworthy
  • Friendly, approachable 
  • Good sense of humour, can fit in lighthearted concepts
  • Doesn’t look too serious
  • Able to convey a sense of pride

This is a non-speaking role and a non-union project. Acting experience is not required, but is an asset that may lead to additional work. Ideal if female talent is able to style their own hair and makeup to adhere to Covid safety protocols.

3. Confirm your availability all day on either Mon, Feb 1 or Tues, Feb 2.
4. Send us your shirt, pant and shoe size.
5. Let us know what kind of experience you have with modelling (and acting if applicable). 100 words or less.
6. Send us up to three professional photos of yourself (Google account required for upload).
7. Optional - Send us a video clip demonstrating your acting skills (under 1min).
