NEWS RELEASE
SAULT STE. MARIE MUSEUM
**************************
A musical night at the museum is underway for teens this coming Friday, June 7 at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum (690 Queen Street East).

Teens ages 13 - 19 are welcome to join us to play-along, sing-along, or sit back and listen while enjoying some snacks and the musical gifts of our local youth!

This event is a partnership between Digital Creator North - Sault Ste. Marie (based in the James L. McIntyre Centennial Public Library, 50 East Street), and the Sault Ste. Marie Museum.

Our intention is to offer time and space for teens to hangout, share their passions, and enjoy a safe, central space where they can make music on a Friday night! We ask that folks bring their own instrument (BYOI) though we will have a few instruments on hand (guitar, mic, keyboard, and digital music production gear from the Digital Creator lab).

There will be time for open-mic sharing, as well as time for collaborative music-making (aka jamming)!

This event is free and snacks will be provided.

Teen Jam Night will be held at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., this Friday, June 7. Feel free to bring a friend, an instrument, and your favourite tune!

For inquiries contact Katie @ Digital Creator ([email protected])
