Suite seats with Strive

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce’s, Strive: Young Professionals Group is rounding out its year with three big events: their first ever Suite Seats with Strive Event, their 2017 Annual General Meeting, and lastly their yearend Holiday Charity Social!

On Friday Nov. 24, join Strive as they cheer on the Soo Greyhounds from the VIP Suite! The event will kick off at 5 p.m. with a 'Strive at Five' held at Shooters Downtown Lounge, where the party will then move over to the VIP Suite at the Essar Centre around 6:30 p.m. Tickets are limited and cost $25 for non-Strive members or $15 for Strive members, tickets can be purchased online prior to Nov. 24, 2017.

The following week, on Wednesday Nov. 29, Strive will be hosting the 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Solo Trattoria. During this event, members of Strive along with the outgoing executive will recap on the past year, and will vote on the incoming Executive Council for 2018. If you are looking to get involved with Strive, or simply to have your voice heard by the Executive Council, here is your chance.
For those who wish to attend the AGM, please RSVP online in advance for this event by following this link to the Strive website. Menu items will be available for purchase by attendees at this event.

Anyone who wishes to put themselves forward for a position on the Strive Executive is required to submit their name here, prior to Monday, November 27th 2017. If you are interested in running, attendance to the AGM is not mandatory, but encouraged.
Please note that you must be a member in good standing to be eligible to run for a position on the Executive Board.

And lastly, to close out the year, on Friday Dec. 8 2017, Strive will be hosting their final 'Strive at Five' at Soo Blaster, located at 345 Queen St E. Keeping in the holiday spirit, the Strive executive will be accepting cash or toy donations as entrance to the event to donate to those in need during this Christmas season.
