NEWS RELEASE
ST. VINCENT PLACE
*************************
Although we can’t come together for a traditional sit-down Christmas dinner this year, St. Vincent Place is happy to still be able to provide a modified Christmas dinner to our soup kitchen clients.

On Wed. Dec. 16, members of the community can stop by our soup kitchen at 222 Albert St. E. from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for a take-out container of Christmas favourites, such as turkey and potatoes. Approximately 200 meals will be put together and will be served on a first come-first served basis.

Each person attending the soup kitchen will only be able to take one meal, so please ensure your whole family joins you to pick up. As has been the case throughout the pandemic, we will be limiting the number of people in the building at one time, so please be sure to dress for the weather as you may need to wait outside for several minutes.

St. Vincent Place would like to thank the community for its ongoing support during this difficult year, which has allowed us to continue serving those in need. A special thank you to O’Sullivan Funeral Home for donating the turkeys we will be serving at the Christmas dinner, and all the volunteers who will be making the meal possible.
