ST. VINCENT PLACE

*************************
The Sault Golf Club is running a non-perishable food drive in partnership with St. Vincent Place.

From June 15 to July 31 green fee players can enjoy a discounted rate of $50 riding in a power cart by bringing a non-perishable food item or cash donation.

According to Blair Martin of the Sault Golf Club, “As a semi-private club and a gathering place within the community; it is very important for us to support charitable organizations such as St. Vincent Place.”

With this promotion, the club aims to encourage the public to play golf on Mondays and Tuesdays while making a positive impact in the community.

St. Vincent Place is a creation of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for the community of Sault Ste. Marie in response to a call for an entity to provide shelter for men over 18 years of age.

St. Vincent Place is a non-profit organization, dedicated to assisting members of the community with basic needs and skill development.

The four components of the St. Vincent Place services are the men’s shelter, food bank, soup kitchen and thrift store, located at 222 Albert St. East.

If you are interested in taking advantage of the promotion call the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club at 705.759.5133 to book your tee-time today.
