SAULT STE MARIE, MI – Lake Superior State University's Rho Chi Omega sorority assembles a rowing machine for a 24-hour row-a-thon they will hold this weekend to benefit the local chapter of Girls on the Run.

The sorority wants to raise at least $2,000 for the program, which teaches young girls healthy living habits through exercise, eating well, and self-esteem.

The row-a-thon runs between 3 p.m., October 17, and 3 p.m., October 18, on the corner of Spruce and Ashmun in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
