New Tim Hortons opening in Thessalon, looking for staff to fill 45 positions

The Algoma District will soon be home to a new Tim Hortons located in the town of Thessalon! In anticipation of a spring opening, Tim Hortons will be holding two job fairs in the region in the coming weeks, with assistance from Sault College Employment Solutions.  

A Sault Ste. Marie fair will take place on Wednesday Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Quattro Hotel (229 Great Northern Road), while a Thessalon fair will be held on Wednesday March 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Thessalon Town Hall, located at 187 Main Street in Thessalon. Resumes can be submitted in advance by email to [email protected] with the subject line “Tim Hortons Thessalon.”  

The job fairs will be used to help staff approximately 45 positions across all shifts at the new Thessalon store. Available jobs include customer service staff, bakers, cleaners, truck delivery personnel, and supervisory and managerial positions. For everyone’s safety, attendees at both fairs will be required to wear masks and to follow on-site guidelines for social distancing. Job fair participants should come prepared for an interview and with a copy of their resume, if they have not already submitted one by email.
