National Supply Centre showcased during trade fair in Cuba

Last week, National Supply Centre representatives, Domenico Spadafora and Mickael Oliver, attended the FIHAV Trade Fair in Havana, Cuba. FIHAV is an international fair, where all sectors of the Cuban economy are represented.

Cuban buyers rarely issue call for bids, terms of reference, or purchase orders. They select a small group of companies – often on an informal basis – whom they approach individually. Cuban buyers use FIHAV as part of their pre-selection process.

National attended the fair to explore trade potential with both the tourism industry as well as the steel sector. National met with various Cuban as well as foreign companies and organizations to showcase what National can offer with the hopes of setting up relationships with the Cuban companies.

National will now work with its counterparts in Cuba to become registered in the portfolio of vendors with the various agencies and brokers.
