Algoma Family Services will be offering the Mental Health First Aid Course on Saturday, June 13 and Saturday, June 20 from 9-5 p.m.

Registration is $75 per participant and lunch is provided each day.

There are only 24 spots available and everyone is welcomed to participate.

The MHFA Course will take place at Algoma Family Services located on 205 McNabb Street.

The MHFA Course offers explanations of mental health, mental illness and mental health problems, signs and symptoms of common mental health problems and crisis situations, information about effective intervention and treatments, and ways to access professional help.
