Local funeral home donates masks to ARCH, area retirement homes (5 photos)

Sootoday received the following information and accompanying photos from Northwood Funeral Home:

Funeral directors Joan Currie and Terra Seaton spent the morning donating masks to local healthcare providers in need.

Northwood Funeral Home purchased 6,000 masks and donated them to ARCH, and all the nursing homes and retirement facilities in Sault Ste. Marie.

"As an active member of this community for over 30 years, we want to show support to our fellow healthcare workers. These times are difficult for everyone and we truly are in this together," said Joan Currie.

"Each location was very thankful and appreciative to receive the masks, locating supplies can be difficult at this time. We are happy to help," said Terra Seaton.
