The Bridal Closet to Hold One Year Anniversary Sale this October

For over 365 days, The Bridal Closet has been under new ownership.

For Amanda Carchidi, owner of the bridal boutique in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, her one year anniversary of being a young entrepreneur in Northern Ontario is cause for celebration and a special partnership.

Amanda Carchidi, owner of The Bridal Closet since August 2013 and a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, has had a passion for the bridal industry since her high school days.

After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Algoma University in 2011, Carchidi worked hard toward her dream of owning her own bridal boutique and catering to brides’ big, special day.

To celebrate her anniversary of owning The Bridal Closet, and to show her gratitude to the City of Sault Ste. Marie for supporting local businesses, Carchidi is pleased to offer an exciting lineup of fall sales.

“I’m very thankful to the City of Sault Ste. Marie and Saultites for supporting my local enterprise and for shopping locally. This is my opportunity to give back to those who have helped make my first-year in business a success and to show my appreciation,” said Carchidi.

For the month of October, The Bridal Closet will be holding a one-year anniversary sale, which will include 10 percent off all wedding dresses purchased in October.

Draws will also be held for dollars off of veils and bridal accessories.

The Bridal Closet will also play host to a Maggie Sottero trunk show from October 16-19.

In honour of breast cancer awareness month in October, Carchidi has also partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and will be donating 10 percent of all proceeds from The Bridal Closet to the Foundation.

“I feel this partnership is particularly fitting for The Bridal Closet. Given that the store caters to a female audience – whether its bridesmaids, brides, or their mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and such – and that breast cancer most often affects women, the partnership seemed like the perfect opportunity for The Bridal Closet to support a charity, help those in need, and raise awareness for those battling such a brave fight in our community.”

The Bridal Closet is open Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments are recommended.
