Ladies Night In event, raffle supports Alzheimer Society

The safety and wellness of everyone is very important to the local Alzheimer Society, therefore in support the Public Health Agency of Canada guidelines we will not be hosting the Ladies Night Out fundraiser which would have taken place on May 21. We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s event in May of 2021.

Each year we look forward to hosting the Ladies Night Out event and we know that people look forward to attending in order to socialize with their friends and family, all while supporting local people living with Alzheimer’s disease.

Although we can’t gather together this year, we want to give everyone the opportunity to continue their support, if they are able, and stay connected with their friends and family while hosting a virtual Ladies Night In! Socializing and fun are an important part of everyone’s health so please consider participating virtually while supporting our important services.

Host your event virtually through the virtual platform of your choice, or simply call each other on the phone.  Set your date in the month of May or June and invite your friends and family to join in, and ask them to visit  on.alz.to/ladiesnightin   to make a secure donation online.

The local Alzheimer Society office is not open to the public, but the staff are working from home and continuing to provide essential services such as Family Support & Counselling, Education, and Recreation Therapy. You can just hear the smiles through the phone, or see the smiles on the computer. It makes such a difference in the quality of life of people living with the disease.

You can make a difference! Help us to ensure that our essential services will continue.

The Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District needs to fundraise over $400,000 annually to provide local services and would be so grateful for your support.

The Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District is selling Luxurious Ladies Raffle tickets. Due to Covid-19 the date of the draw has been changed to Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at the Alzheimer Society office 341 Trunk Rd. In order to proceed with the change in date we were required to contact all of the people who had already purchased a ticket, and all permissions have been obtained. (lic. M834480)
