Join Nogdawindamin, Anishnabek Police Service for a community BBQ

NOGDAWINDAMIN FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services, in partnership with Anishnabek Police Service is hosting an annual community barbecue on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 at the Garden River Community Centre 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The community is invited to attend this free event. Come check out the police and emergency vehicles, boats, ATVs and forensic van from neighbouring police services.

There will be arts and crafts activities, games, face painting, a dunking booth and more. Visit booths from various community agencies to learn what they offer.

Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services is a designated Child Welfare agency servicing members of the 7 First Nations along the North Shore guided by traditional teachings.

Anishinabek Police Service provides effective, efficient, proud, trustworthy and accountable service that ensures Anishinabek, and its residents and visitors are safe and healthy while respecting traditional cultural values and the protection of inherent rights and freedoms on our traditional territories.
