The Sault Community Career Centre will be hosting a job fair at their offices on 503 Queen Street East on Thursday, August 16th from 11 am to 6 pm for Home Instead Senior Care. The employer will be onsite for interviews, so please bring a copy of your resume and cover letter.

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for full-time caring and compassionate PSWs and 1st year nursing students to become part of their team and join their mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. There are a variety of shifts available with competitive pay and benefits.

Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Duties include, but are not limited to, companionship and conversation, light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation, medication and appointment reminders, assistance with grooming and bathing, assistance with toileting and incontinence issues, Alzheimer’s care (no previous experience necessary – skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care).

Requirements include, a PSW certificate or the completion of 1st-year Nursing, the ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect, the ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner, complete a criminal background check and a driver’s abstract, possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
