On the morning of June 11, EXIT Realty Lake Superior, Brokerage invited the community to stop by their new location on Northern Avenue to drop off non-perishable foods and check out items for sale at their garage sale; with all proceeds raised going to the local Soup Kitchen.

“A handful of our Sales Representatives were very motivated to ensure this event was a success; they spent hours of their own time marketing the event, pricing items and working the sale itself. We have our amazing staff and community to thank for such a great morning. We are proud to announce that we were able to raise $1,014 in addition to the multiple bags of non-perishable food items collected,” says Kim Porco, Administrator at EXIT Realty Lake Superior.

Marlene Henry, Volunteer Coordinator for the Soup Kitchen expressed that they have received help for all over the community, and that she was amazed to see how our community come together to help their organization.

“Having previously partnered with the Brighter Beginnings Children’s Program at the Soup Kitchen, our staff is connected to the families directly affected by this shortage. We knew it would be a great opportunity to get involved and help! A huge thank you to both our staff and community; especially Sales Representatives Pam Jaehrling and Laura DeLuca, as they were instrumental in bringing this idea to life.” says Kristen Trembinski, Broker of Record and Managing Partner of EXIT Realty Lake Superior.

EXIT Realty Lake Superior, Brokerage, would like to thank the community and other local businesses for their generous donations and support. “It is awesome to see our community pull together,” Says Rob Trembinski, Sales Representative. “We’re very lucky that we live in Sault Ste Marie.”

Sales Representative, Laura Deluca stated “it was such an honour to work with my EXIT family to help our local Soup Kitchen. If we all work together we can make our community a better place. We had such a great time and we’re hoping to make this a yearly event.”
