First Night Lite Golf Tournament a success

Crime Stoppers, in partnership with Root River Golf Club and Dumanski Office Interiors, held the first annual Night Lite Golf Tournament this past Friday, Aug. 12 from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight.

This tournament was Sault Ste. Marie’s first outdoor glow in the dark golf tournament featuring state of the art light up equipment.

With an exceptionally high level of interest from the community, Crime Stoppers Night Lite Golf Tournament sold out its registration and even expanded to accommodate teams on a waiting list who were interested in participating.

Each team enjoyed free appetizers, delicious specialty drinks from Root River’s golf themed cash-bar drink menu, 9 holes of glow in the dark golf, and great prizes donated from our generous sponsors.

Crime Stoppers would like to thank and acknowledge everyone who participated in the first annual Night Lite Golf Tournament, along with all of our local sponsors whose contributions allowed the event to become as successful as it was.

A special thank you is extended to Mark and Nick of Phatboy Fireworks who kicked off the tournament with an incredible firework display.

Crime Stoppers would also like to thank Steve of Driver Seat SSM for providing guests of the event with a safe way home.
