CANADIAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION

Emily Richards, professional home economist, television personality and cookbook author will be in Sault Ste. Marie on Monday, May 9, 2016 to cook up some tasty samples from her latest cookbook.
The event is being hosted by the local branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association and is generously supported by JD Aero Technical Inc.
“Per La Famiglia, Memories and Recipes of Southern Italian home cooking”, pays homage to her Italian family cultures and celebrations in a cookbook that creates a story throughout her family life. “The recipes represent a love of food and family that I know all cultures have. I want you to come and enjoy the stories that unfold and celebrate with me in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association,” says Richards who was raised in Sault Ste. Marie and still has very close ties to the city she loves.
Reserved seating tickets only are available for $20 each and include the cooking demonstration and tasty samples of each recipe she prepares.
The doors at the Grand Gardens Downtown location will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available by calling the Canadian Diabetes Association at 705-759-1233. Deadline to purchase tickets is May 5.
