CRIME STOPPERS OF SAULT STE MARIE AND ALGOMA DISTRICT

The Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District is pleased to be participating in Crime Stoppers Awareness Month this January.

Crime Stoppers is a community-based tips program that allows members of the public to anonymously report information to police, managed in Sault Ste. Marie by Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District.

Since its inception in 1985, Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District were responsible for 4,458 arrests, 2,140 charges laid, 2,701 cases cleared, $7,747,408 in drugs seized, and $3,844,832 in recovered property.  Crime Stoppers has helped police solve cases of homicide, robbery, break and enter, drugs, mischiefs, and more.

Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District is seeking volunteers to join our board of directors. Directors are responsible to promote charity, increase awareness, fundraise, build relationships in the community, and more. To apply for this position, please click here.
