Clean North finds itself with several hundred surplus potted Norway spruce tree seedlings. Grown from locally sourced seed for community
tree planting, these trees will be available while supplies last, free to a good home, on Saturday, Aug. 29, between 9 a.m. and noon at Lemieux Composting, 764 Black Rd. in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

Also available to the public, free by donation, will be mulch made from the Christmas trees collected and chipped up last January, This is a DIY event so please bring your own containers, pitchfork or shovel and perhaps a helper for bin lifting.
