Christmas concert raises $5,000 for Salvation Army and Christmas Cheer

KIWANIS CLUB OF LAKESHORE

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore in association with Central United Church presented An Old Time Christmas Concert on Saturday evening, Dec. 3.

The Dave Anich Band with Ruby John, Ezeee Country, Jeff McNiece and Cathy McColeman provided Christmas music for the 500 people that attended.

All proceeds were evenly divided between the Salvation Army and Christmas Cheer, and Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore President Jack Davidson presented both with cheques for $2,500 each.

It was a very special evening with the spirit of giving for the Christmas season.
