Calling all yard sale fans

If you like shopping for good deals while helping those in need, this is a great weekend for you!

On Saturday, May 4, the Masonic Lodge at 378 Albert St. E. will be holding a large, indoor garage sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and all proceeds will be donated to St. Vincent Place.

Then, on Sunday, May 5 the thrift store at St. Vincent Place itself is holding a large, indoor spring cleaning sale. Running from noon to 4 p.m., the sale will take place in the St. Vincent Place banquet hall at 222 Albert St. E.

Shoppers will be able to fill a bag with clothes for only $5, and find other great deals on shoes, purses, and jackets.

The thrift store raises funds to help cover St. Vincent Place’s operation costs. We operate a men’s shelter, food bank, and soup kitchen to help give hope to the hungry and homeless of Sault Ste. Marie.
