The North Channel Healthy Kids Community Challenge Committee is sponsoring a Fruit and Veggie Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 138th annual Central Algoma Exhibition and Fall Fair (Bruce Mines Arena), Hwy. 638, Bruce Mines.

The Scavenger Hunt is open to children 12 and under. Pre-registration for the Hunt is required by Friday, Sept. 8 (extended from Sept. 5).

The event is free to participants. Bring a ‘hunt buddy’ and your parents!

Please visit your local municipal office to register (Huron Shores – 705-843-2033, 7 Bridge St., Iron Bridge, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Take the Veggie Bus!  Buses depart Blind River and Echo Bay at 8:30 a.m., returning at 1:30 p.m. Contact your municipal office or Thessalon First Nation Health Centre for more details.
