This October, come experience the crisp fresh air and breathtaking landscapes of fall in support of ARCH Hospice. You can warm up with us on Sunday, Oct. 15 for a morning of chocolate and exercise at our Cocoa 5K & Marshmallow Mile. Or maybe spend an evening under the stars hiking Hiawatha Highlands on Saturday, Oct. 21 at our Hiawatha Starlight Fall Walk.

Join us at the Bellevue Park Bandshell at 10 a.m. on October 15 for the Cocoa 5K & Marshmallow Mile. Registration for the fun run begins at 10 a.m.

Family and friends are invited to run, walk, or wheel in either the standard five kilometer event or the Marshmallow Mile for kids. Our decadent hot chocolate bar awaits everyone at the finish line, complete with delicious toppings, a sweet treat and chocolate medal for kids.

Only $10 per child, $20 per adult, or $35 per family. Pets are welcome so bring them along for the active morning. Register by Oct. 8 to receive one free ARCH Hospice buff. Supplies are limited so act quickly!

If you’re looking for an evening of falling leaves, lanterns and stars, the Hiawatha Starlight Fall Walk will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Kinsmen Park on Oct. 21. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. All participants will enjoy lantern-lit trails and warm up with delicious homemade soup and bread.

Tickets are $30 with children 10 and under free. The first 100 tickets sold will take home their choice of a custom handmade pottery bowl donated by the local Pottery Guild. The Hiawatha Starlight Fall Walk is made possible thanks to the support of the Sault Ste. Marie Kinsmen Club.
