Algoma University encourages all prospective students and their parents or guardians to attend an upcoming information night on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Great West Life Amphitheatre (NW 200).

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about what Algoma University has to offer local students, and one student will walk away with a $1,000 Tuition Award redeemable at Algoma University for the 2018-19 academic year!

“We encourage everyone to attend our upcoming information night,” says Director of Enrolment Management and International, Brent Krmpotich. “It is an opportunity for parents to find out everything they need to know about the university application process, important dates and deadlines, financial aid information and how Algoma’s programs will help them achieve their career goals.”

The Parent Night will provide an overview of many topics including:

  • What to expect upon submitting an application;
  • Preparing for the transition to university;
  • Financial aid and awards;
  • Student success supports on campus; and
  • Experiential learning opportunities and career services.

Guests will also have the opportunity to take part in guided campus tours highlighting the university’s state of the art facilities.
