50/50 winner takes pause to remember parents who passed away at ARCH

ARCH Hospice is delighted to announce that David Rector has won [$28,000] with ticket number L-3535929. As long-term ARCH supporters, David and Karen have been purchasing monthly ARCH 50/50 tickets since August of 2020!

“We purchased our June tickets on June 29 which would have been my mom Sandi’s 75th birthday. After I received the phone call, my wife and I took a moment to remember both my mom and dad who passed away at ARCH in 2018/2019,” shared Dave.

“We will always support ARCH Hospice, it is extra special to us to support local organizations, and see where the money goes, and know it’s making a difference. As a family, we were fortunate enough to have used the facility twice. Dad always advocated that we continue to support local if we can, and he suggested that ARCH was the place to support so others can experience it as well,” shared Dave.

“When you walk in, your stress is instantly gone. Knowing your loved one is being taken care of really helps the family become a family again without having to be the caregiver,” shared Dave.

“ARCH remains incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our 50/50. This has helped us provide additional supportive care resources and additional direct resident care supplies and equipment as well,” shared Christianne Monico, executive director at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice.

ARCH is celebrating one full year of their online 50/50 raffle. ARCH is extremely grateful for the continued support of raising funds for the care and support of the hundreds of residents and their families that ARCH serves each year.

We have added an additional early bird draw the second Wednesday of each month as a thank you! Purchasing your tickets in advance will give you a chance at both the $1,000 early bird prize and the end of the month grand prize.

Tickets for the July ARCH 50/50 are on sale now at www.ARCH5050.ca! The winner’s jackpot has a guaranteed minimum of $9,999. Proceeds raised from the 50/50 go directly towards the care and support of hundreds of residents, community clients and their families served by ARCH each year.
