If there is anyone who understands what the Soo Greyhounds are going through right now, it's the 1988 Oshawa Generals. The '88 Generals were the last team to lose an Ontario Hockey League playoff series after taking a 3-0 series lead.

The Soo Mosquito Black Sox Selects are set to begin their spring indoor workouts for the upcoming baseball season. Indoor work outs for the rep squad will start Friday April 8th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Best Western, from the Sault Female Hockey Association, took home top honours this past weekend in Hamilton at the 12th Annual Hamilton Hawkey Tournament.

Sault College will once again run it's annual Summer Basketball League for boys and men ages 15 and over. The league will run on Sunday nights from 5-9 p.m. beginning on May 22nd.

Several unofficial provincial and Canadian records were set over the weekend in Sault Ste. Marie during the 2005 Provincial Masters Swimming Championship. The three-day event attracted nearly 180 swimmers from 23 clubs across Ontario.

Sixteen Sault Ste Marie Aquatic Club swimmers traveled to Sudbury for a two-day regional competition over the weekend for the first Long Course competition of the season. Head coach Rob Moreside was pleased with the results.
