In high school basketball action over the weekend, the St. Mary's Knights senior girls team attended the Wilfrid Laurier University Tournament in Waterloo.

In Ontario Hockey League action from Sunday: * Cory Emmerton scored two goals as the Kingston Frontenacs doubled up the Oshawa Generals 6-3.

The St. Mary's Knights junior girls basketball team won the Trojan Classic tournament over the weekend in North Bay. In their first game on Friday, the Knights defeated Algonquin 45-20.
