A pair of Soo Greyhounds were among the players named to the 2013-14 Ontario Hockey League All-Star teams announced this afternoon.
Greyhounds goaltender Matt Murray was named a 2nd Team All-Star while defenceman Darnell Nurse was named to the 3rd team.
Murray finished the 2013-14 season fifth in the OHL in goals against average (2.57), third in save percentage (0.921), second in wins (32) and tied for first in shutouts with six, which was also a Greyhounds record. In nine playoff games, Murray posted a 2.62 GAA and 0.915 save percentage.
Nurse finished the season with 13 goals and 50 points in 64 games this season. He added three goals and eight points in nine playoff games.
