Elks Bantams Earn Double Header Sweep

The Elks 341 14U Soo Black Sox travelled to Valley East this past weekend and walked away with a double header sweep.

Game 1:  Soo Black Sox 12  Valley East Voyageurs 2
Winning Pitcher: Owen Allen.  

Owen Allen, Colton Fata and Malcolm McGugan combined on a 2-hitter with 9 Strikeouts in a strong effort. Lucas Malcom led the attack with 2 singles and 3 RBI's. Adam Sylvestre added 2 singles with a pair of RBI's. Carter Gallivan added 2 singles and had 3 stolen bases.

Winning Pitcher: Carter Gallivan

The offense struck early and often as the locals put their 11 runs up in the first two innings. Matthew Gagne led the attack with 2 singles and 3 RBI's.
Avery Kalliomaa had 2 singles and an RBI, while Landon Assiginack had a bases loaded triple. Colin Sirois and Colton Fata added singles.

Little Caesars Rookie Black Sox Sweep Weekend Home Series

The Little Caesars Rookie Black Sox hosted the North Bay Stingers for a 3-game set at Sinclair Yards this past weekend. The results were quite positive as the locals won all three games by scores of 15-5, 19-11 and 10-4.

On the May 26 weekend, the Rookie Black Sox also scored a 4 game sweep over the Valley East Voyageurs with scores of 14-6, 23-13, 25-15, and 24-14.

Next Action for Little Caesars is an international clash with our sister from Soo, MI this coming weekend with a double header starting at 2 p.m.
