Steelhawks and Colts victorious in high school basketball

Superior Heights and Korah picked up victories on Tuesday in senior girl’s high school basketball action.

Gracie Sloss had 16 points as Korah beat White Pines 46-25.

Cecilia Holzworth had 11 points for White Pines.

Hannah Heimonen had nine points for Superior Heights in a 35-22 win over St. Mary’s.

Sophie Thomson had six points for St. Mary’s.

In junior action on Tuesday, Ashlyn Noble had 13 points as St. Mary’s beat Superior Heights 41-21.

Kiera Kent chipped in with 10 points for the Knights.

Emmalie Allard had nine points for Superior Heights.

In Tuesday’s other junior game, Ella Zachary had eight points as Korah beat White Pines 41-11.

Elyce Bowman and Taylor Boyer had four points each for White Pines.

A busy week on the senior schedule continues tonight as Superior Heights hosts White Pines.

On Thursday, Korah will host St. Mary’s and Superior Heights will host White Pines in both junior and senior action.
