Ski racers to compete for 4th Great Lakes Honda Cup this weekend

This weekend, 165 racers from 10 different race clubs will gather at Searchmont Resort to compete for the fourth Great Lakes Honda Cup.

The tournament marks the final race of the 2023 season for U8, U10, and U12 Searchmont Ski Runner (SSR) athletes.

The winning club will be determined based on skiers’ points, and SSR says it hopes to repeat last year’s victory and take home the Honda Cup again.

"Searchmont Resort will be open for the weekend, with some of the best and only snow left in Ontario," SSR said in a news release. "Come out and take advantage of the fully open hill and beautiful weather while cheering on our young athletes!"
