SAULT COLLEGE ATHLETICS

Sault College is thrilled to have first year top recruit Skylar Toms joining our Cougar basketball family.

The Sault native product is a versatile 5’11” swing player who can guard multiple positions defensively, both on the perimeter and inside as well because of her length.

Her athleticism will allow her to get out on the break and put immediate pressure on the defense as she runs the lanes extremely well.

Offensively, she will be very effective at either the 3 or 4 spot and we are expecting her to contribute right away.

Skylar has experience in a winning highschool basketball program as she is a graduate of Korah Collegiate locally.

Skylar has been a major contributor on the success of the program over the last four years at the west-end school, capturing four successive city championships in both junior and senior. For all her hard work, Skylar was awarded the city-wide Referees Award, combining both athleticism and sportsmanship in her graduating year.

Skylar has a tremendous upside and great leadership potential, and the coaching staff is looking forward to her contributions both on and off the court.

Please join us in welcoming Skylar to the Cougar family!

We hope to see you out cheering on and supporting your local collegiate team and catch the exciting OCAA Basketball action on campus at the Health and Wellness Centre.
