The team from the Sault brought home the silver from the Provincial Tier Competition that was held on the weekend in Kitchener/Waterloo.

The team from the Sault brought home the silver from the Provincial Tier Competition that was held on the weekend in Kitchener/Waterloo. The Sault's only synchro team, the Sault Y Synchro (because they swim out of the YMCA) attended the provincial competition May 21-25 The 5-person team consisting of Meagan Dutchak, Dominique Valiquette, Brittany MacWilliam, Ila Porter and Keisha McKay swam their way to 2nd place, bringing home the silver medal from Tier 2 competition. Individual figures results saw stellar performances by the girls with an outstanding showing by Meagan Dutchak who took 1st place in Tier 2 competition, out performing 93 other swimmers from across Ontario. Also joining the younger team, was veteran swimmer Stephanie MacWilliam who for the first time in her career participated in the solo competition with an amazing performance. The swimmers and their volunteer coaches performed extremely well. A display for family, friends and the public will be held in the very near future with the date to be announced. The end of the year awards banquet will be held June 5th.
