Kaitlin DeBoer scored 16 points and Rachel Cobean 11 to pace the Saints to the win and a 12-0 record in the senior division as the High School Girls Basketball League concluded their regular season schedule on Thursday.

Jessica Stone led the Mount with seven points while Heather Lewis added five.

In junior, Vanessa Chaimbrone scored 14 points to led the Royals to a 45-37 win over the Saints. Abby DiDonato replied with 14 points for St. Basil.

At Sir James Dunn, the St. Mary's Knights secured second spot in the senior division with a 36-33 win over the Eagles. Trisha Mazzota led the Knights with 13 points while Jennifer Sweezy added 10. Janine Olthius scored 13 and Ashling McWilliam eight for the Eagles.

In the junior game, Kira Favaro scored nine points and Julia Burgess six to lead St. Mary's past Sir James Dunn 47-25. Scoring details for the Eagles was unavailable.

At Bawating, the Braves used 12 points from Stephanie Thayer and eight from Sam Marasco to beat the Korah Colts 33-29 in overtime. Lauren Podolski scored 12 points and Larissa Graham five to lead the Colts.

In junior, Korah beat Bawating 47-28 as Jaclyn Cummings scored 13 points and Katy Antler 11 for the Colts. Sarah Crispell scored 14 and Amanda Whitmell eight for the Braves.

The playoff schedule has been determined as quarterfinal action in junior tips off on Tuesday.

First place St. Mary's receives a bye while second place St. Basil entertains seventh place Bawating, third place Korah hosts sixth place Sir James Dunn and fourth place Mount St. Joseph will host fifth place White Pines.

The winners will join St. Mary's for semi-final action next Thursday.

The Senior Division playoffs begin next Thursday with semi-final play as first place St. Basil entertains fourth place Bawating and second place St. Mary's hosts third place Korah.

Semi-final winners will meet for the city championship on Saturday, November 15 at a site yet to be determined.
