The 2003 race season continues this coming Saturday, June 14th at the Kinross Speedway as they are set to present a very special night in the history of the track. This Saturday will feature the Randy Dewitt Memorial Super Late Model Race as the track pays respect to one of their former promoters, racers and most importantly ... friends. The night will see a full 4-in-1 show of Super Late Models, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and 4-Cylinders. Also on tap is a Powder Puff race and the Pure Stock feature is sponsored by Frank Huyck and Sons. Time trials begin at 4:30 p.m. with racing action to follow at 6:00 p.m. Entering the 2nd night of racing action at Kinross, Curtis Anderson is your current points leader in the Super Late Model division as he leads Soo, Michigan's Tim Aho by 10 points. Bay City, Michigan driver Tim Schmidt sits in 1st place in the Factory Stock division holding a 4-point lead over Cecil Piche (88). 2001 Track Champion Barry Glenn is tops in the Pure Stock division with a 6-point cushion over second place runner Ray Golladay, meanwhile John Mayer is defending his track championship of one season ago by leading Steve Bumstead by 6-points in the 4-Cylinder Division. It's always an entertaining night out for the family at the Kinross Speedway. Take exit 378 off I-75 and follow the signs. Kinross Speedway is located approximately 20 miles south of Soo, Michigan at Kinross.
