After two years away, Laird International Raceway is expected to open racing on Friday night.
Under a new name, Superior International Motorplex, the facility has been without racing for two summers after racing ended at the track in the summer of 2015.
Friday’s races would be the first at the facility since that time.
A plan was in place for the facility to run last summer as a dirt track but the facility did not open.
In a release, organizers say a full show is planned for Friday with features in four divisions, including Super Late Models, Modifieds, ABC, and 4 Cylinders.
