Perlini signs with Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes have signed first round pick Brendan Perlini. The Sault Ste. Marie native was selected by the Coyotes 12th overall in the 2014 NHL draft.

The Sault Ste. Marie native was selected by the Coyotes 12th overall in the 2014 NHL draft.

“Brendan is a strong skater with great size and skill,” Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney said in a release. “He had an impressive prospect development camp and we look forward to watching his development.”

Perlini had 34 goals and 71 points in 58 games with the Niagara IceDogs in the 2013-14 season and had three goals and four points in seven games with Team Canada at the 2014 U18 World Championship.
