The final playoff spot in the Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern Conference will now come down to a tiebreaker game

In Ottawa, Stuart Percy’s last-minute goal into an empty net wound up as the game-winner as the Mississauga Steelheads beat the Ottawa 67’s 4-3. The win clinched at least a tiebreaker game for the final playoff spot in the OHL’s Eastern Conference. Trevor Carrick, Dylan Smoskowitz and Riley Brace also scored for the Steelheads in the win. Clint Windsor stopped 37 shots in the loss for the 67’s. Michael Cajkovsky had a pair of assists in the game. Ryan Van Stralen, Mark Petaccio and Brendan Bell scored for Ottawa.

In Erie, Jimmy McDowell scored on the power play at 4:48 of overtime to give the Erie Otters a 5-4 win over the Guelph Storm. Connor Brown scored a pair of goals for the Otters. Adam Pelech added a goal and an assist for Erie. Dane Fox also scored. Connor McDavid assisted on four goals. Scott Kosmachuk had a goal and two assists for the Storm. Zac Leslie, Tyler Bertuzzi and Patrick Watling also scored for Guelph.

In Belleville, Garrett Hooey scored twice as the Belleville Bulls beat the Sudbury Wolves 5-2. Scott Simmonds, Joseph Cramarossa and Brendan Gaunce also scored. Dominik Kubalik and Michael Kantor scored for the Wolves in the loss.

In Plymouth, Mitchell Heard scored at 1:42 of overtime to give the Plymouth Whalers a 4-3 win over the Windsor Spitfires. Stefan Noesen and Sebastian Uvira had a goal and two assists for the Whalers. Vincent Trocheck added a goal and an assist. Kerby Rychel, Alexander Khokhlachev and Brady Vail scored for the Spitfires.

In Sault Ste. Marie, Michael Schumacher had two goals and an assist as the Soo Greyhounds beat the Kitchener Rangers 6-4. Andrew Fritsch and Jared McCann added a goal and two assists for the Greyhounds, who clinched sixth in the Western Conference with the win. Darnell Nurse had a goal and an assist for the Greyhounds. Dylan Staples also scored in the win. Matt Murray stopped 35 shots. For the Rangers, Ben Thomson had two goals and an assist in the loss. Josh Leivo and Owen Stewart also scored for the Rangers.

In Saginaw, Alex Broadhurst scored on the power play at 1:14 of overtime to give the London Knights a 3-2 win over the Saginaw Spirit. Broadhurst and Chris Tierney had a goal and an assist in the win. Max Domi set up a pair of goals. Bo Horvat also scored. Jacob Ringuette had a goal and an assist for Saginaw. Terry Trafford also scored.

In Barrie, Andreas Athanasiou’s second period goal on the power play held up as the winner as the Barrie Colts beat the Niagara IceDogs 3-2. Justin Scott and Erik Bradford also scored for the Colts. Alex Fotinos stopped 32 shots for the Colts. Brent Moran stopped 42 shots for the IceDogs. Shayne Rover and Mack Lemmon scored in the loss.

In Owen Sound, Gemel Smith, Steven Janes and Chris Bigras had a goal and an assist as the Owen Sound Attack beat the Sarnia Sting 4-2. Cameron Brace set up a pair of goals for the Attack. Zach Nastasiuk also scored for Owen Sound. Nikolay Goldobin and Nickolas Latta scored for the Sting. Goaltender JP Anderson stopped 37 shots.
