Wednesday marked a quiet night around the Ontario Hockey League with just a pair of games on the schedule.

As the Soo Greyhounds battle for positioning in the Ontario Hockey League’s Western Conference, neither result affected the Greyhounds in their push towards a playoff berth.

The lone Western Conference team in action was the Owen Sound Attack as they picked up a 4-1 win on home ice over the Barrie Colts. Daniel Catenacci paced the Attack offensively with a pair of goals. Zach Nastasiuk added two assists in the win. Owen Sound goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped 37 shots in the win. Erik Bradford had the lone goal for Barrie in the loss. Colts goaltender Mathias Niederberger stopped 41 shots.

In Belleville, Alan Quine had a goal and five assists as the Belleville Bulls beat the Kingston Frontenacs 8-2. Daniil Zharkov scored three times for the Bulls. Joseph Cramarossa assisted on three goals in the win. Sam Bennett and Jean Dupuy scored for Kingston in the loss.

Thursday night will see just three games on the schedule, one of which is important in the Western Conference standings as the Windsor Spitfires are in action. Windsor hosts Peterborough while the other two games are all-Eastern Conference matchups as Niagara hosts Sudbury and Brampton hosts Mississauga.
