The lone game on the Ontario Hockey League schedule on Wednesday night saw the Belleville Bulls increase their lead on the Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern Conference
Thanks to an 8-5 win on Wednesday night in Belleville over the Ottawa 67’s, the Bulls increased their lead atop the conference to three points over the Barrie Colts. The Bulls also hold a game in hand on the Colts.
Alan Quine led the offensive attack for the Bulls with three goals and an assist in the win. Tyler Graovac added a goal and three assists for the Bulls. Scott Simmonds added a pair of goals. Austen Brassard chipped in with a goal and an assist. Brendan Gaunce scored the other goal for the Bulls. Jordan Subban set up three goals while Jake Worrad and Daniil Zharkov added two assists each for the Bulls.
Jacob Middleton had a goal and an assist each for Ottawa. Ryan Van Stralen, Mark Petaccio, Joseph Blandisi and Dante Salituro also scored for the 67’s. Sean Monahan added two assists in the loss.
As for the Colts, they will be back in action on Thursday trying to cut into the Bulls lead atop the conference when they host the Owen Sound Attack.
