Soo Greyhounds forward Zach Senyshyn is not expected to participate in the Boston Bruins upcoming development camp.
The veteran forward is currently recovering from a bout of mononucleosis.
The Bruins development camp opens on July 12.
Senyshyn is coming off a season in which he posted 45 goals and 65 points in 66 games. In 136 career games with the Greyhounds, Senyshyn has 72 goals and 112 points.
Senyshyn was one of three first round picks by the Bruins in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Bruins had three consecutive picks, selecting Jakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk and Senyshyn.
The 19-year-old is slated to participate in Hockey Canada’s summer showcase camp which is scheduled to open on July 26.

CAMERON TO CALGARY
Former Soo Greyhounds Coach Dave Cameron has been hired by the Calgary Flames.
Cameron, who was fired as head coach of the Ottawa Senators in April, has been hired by the Flames as an assistant coach.
He was hired by the Senators to replace Paul MacLean and posted a 70-50-17 record in parts of two seasons in Ottawa.
Cameron spent two seasons as general manager and head coach of the Greyhounds beginning in 1997.

KNIGHTS NAME NEW GENERAL MANAGER
The London Knights named Rob Simpson its new general manager on Wednesday.
Simpson, who was brought in by the team in 2012, has previously served as an assistant general manager and assistant coach with the team and takes over for Basil McRae, who stepped down from the general manager position to take on a new role with the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets.
McRae will remain a part of the organization as he maintains an ownership stake with the team.
For Simpson, he will also hold his position as an assistant coach with the team.
Knights Assistant Director of Scouting Jake Goldberg will take over Simpson’s former position as assistant general manager.
