David Turco had a goal and an assist and Dustin Curts contributed two helpers as the Soo North Stars doubled the New Liskeard Cubs 4-2 in Great North Midget Hockey League action at John Rhodes Community Centre on Saturday night. Jeff Elliott, Cory Sewell and Jeff Elliot also scored for the North Stars. Goalie Michael Maulucci continued his strong season for the North Stars by posting the win. The two teams meet again this afternoon, 1 p.m. at the Rhodes.
