The Mount St. Joseph Royals have solved part one of the senior girls high school basketball tiebreaker. The Royals on Monday defeated Korah 50-37 to eliminate the Colts from playoff contention. The Mount now plays the White Pines Wolverines tonight at 6 p.m. at the Bawating gym in part two of the tie breaking formula to decide the fourth-and-final playoff spot. The tiebreakers became necessary when White Pines, Korah and the Mount all finished the regular season tied for fourth place with identical 4-8 records. In Monday's game, Julia Colizza and Jessica Stone led the Mount with 11 points apiece, while Lauren Podolski had the same number for Korah.
