On Sunday, Adam Ciaschini, Michael Esson, Cody Reville, Craig Rushon and Marc Hurtubise scored touchdowns to give Scholars a 37-6 win over Firefighters in bantam division play. Curtis White scored the lone touchdown for Firefighters.

Through five games, Scholars has only allowed five touchdowns and have given up a stingy 2.6 points per game.

Matthew Wagner and Eric Shaule scored touchdowns as Brody's edged the Tingrin Seagulls 14-12. Mike Storozuk, who leads the league with eight touchdowns, replied with two major scores for Tingrin, which missed two convert attempts.

In the tyke division, Rome's scored six second half touchdowns to beat the short-staffed MemberCARE Rhinos 42-7. Alex Griffa, Christian Mahler, Michael Colizza, Tyler Vernelli, Jeffery Guzzo and Travis Ames scored touchdowns for Rome's, which also remains unbeaten. Darcy Casola replied for MemberCARE, which led 7-0 at the half.

Brian Nanne's two touchdowns led Sports Gold past Brody's 28-14. Brock Hoover and Dylan Greco also scored for Sports Gold while Ben Cicchelli and Jared Theriault scored for Brody's.

In a kick and pass competition held during halftime of the Sault Sabercats and Sault Steelers game on Saturday, Mike Storuzuk won the passing competition and Jeffery Nichols the kicking in the bantam division. Oliver O'Brien won the passing contest and Jordan Lake won the kicking competition in the tyke division.
