Local skaters qualify for Provincial Championship competition

Twenty-six skaters represented the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club at the Nickel Blades on Ice, Skate Ontario Super Series in Sudbury, Ont. this past weekend.

Congratulations to all our skaters who attended the Nickle Blades on Ice Skate Ontario Super Series competition in Sudbury this past weekend. Everyone skated with pride, and many of you achieved a personal best, and met your goals. Some of you earned a much coveted spot to qualify for the Skate Ontario Provincial Championship, which in itself is a great accomplishment. Your hard work and dedication to figure skating is impressive. You are all awesome and make us proud.

Special thanks go out to all our highly skilled and dedicated coaches who are instrumental in bringing our skaters to the performance levels they have achieved.
